This year's conference is focused on sustaining justice and harmony.  The session will highlight the journey of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities as we move towards equity has been one of both trauma and resilience.  From the Stonewall Riot to same gender marriage and new threats from the political world, this presentation will share lessons learned from a gay man who grew up in rural Hawaii.  This session will look at current events impacting our LGB&T community.  We will look back at our historical journey as a community.  We will discuss the historical trauma that has and continues to impact our LGB&T communities.  We will shine a spotlight on the resiliencies of our people and our fight.  We are at a time when we have to ask ourselves… is history repeating itself?
